In July 2022, Mission Singapore launched Around The World with Mission campaign as an extension the #LikeBreadButBetter campaign from 2021, where it challenge Singaporeans to rethink bread as a diet staple and reach for Mission products as alternatives, with a global twist.

This edition of the #LikeBreadButBetter campaign, titled ‘Around The World With Mission’ sees nine local home cooks and food influencers reaching for their favourite travel memories and recreating classic sandwich recipes from around the world with Mission Foods products

Renowned food influencer @Ieatishootipost’s (Dr. Leslie Tay) took inspiration from the classic Belle Isle Lobster Roll from Boston, USA, and reimagined his version in the form of a scrumptious Prawn Roll using a Mission Garlic Wrap, where luscious tiger prawns are fried with garlic and butter, then tossed with surimi, mayo and chopped green onions, and finally wrapped up and toasted.

For an undeniable Asian flavour explosion, home cook @limjenjen’s (Lim Jen Jen) took her palate on a trip to India and dreamt up Masala Bombay Toast, peppered generously with red onion, green chilli, cilantro, ground turmeric, mango chutney using Mission Pitas. Jet setting to Southeast Asia with TV personality and chef @sarahhuangbenjamin (Sarah Huang Benjamin), she recreated Vietnam’s iconic Bahn Mi into a mouthwatering Pork Meatball Mission Chia Wrap with a fish sauce-based dressing for the ultimate hit of umami. Whether it’s from Australia to Hong Kong, the sky is truly the limit when it’s #LikedBreadButBetter.

The campaign and its corresponding online contest was a resounding success, achieving strong positive responses on various Mission and Influencers’ social platforms.
