  • 4 Mission Original Wraps

  • 1 tsp flour

  • 1 tsp water

  • 155g can Sardines, drained, rinsed and mashed with a fork

  • ¼ Onion, finely chopped

  • 3 Chilli padi, finely chopped

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise

  • ¼ tsp Salt

  • ¼ tsp Crushed black pepper

  • 3 Lollo Rossa lettuce leaves

  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

  • Step 1

    Combine flour and water to make a batter. Set aside

  • Step 2

    Combine sardines, onion, chilli padi, lime juice and mayonnaise in a bowl and mix well. Season with freshly ground pepper and salt

  • Step 3

    Place the Mission Original Wraps on a work surface. Arrange the Lollo Rossa leaves along the centre of each wrap. Top with spoonfuls of sardine mayo salad then fold the sides of the wrap towards the centre and roll up from bottom. Bring wrap ends together and roll to fully enclose the filling. Apply a little batter along the edge of the roll to help the ends stick to the roll. Deep fry until golden

    To serve, cut rolls in half on the diagonal
